Indications
Benign prostatic
hypertrophy.
Contraindications
History of
orthostatic hypotension.
Precautions
Hypertension,monitor
BP regularly,particularly at start of treatment.Coronary
insufficiency,discontinue if angina detoriates.Withdraw 24 hours before
anesthesia.
Side effects
Headache,vertigo,dizziness,gastrointestinal
upset,orthostatic hypotension,syncope,tachycardia,palpitation,chest
pain,fatigue,drowsiness,rash,pruritis,flushes,edema.
Dosage
Adults:1 tablet three
times daily,maximum 4 tablets daily.Elderly:initially 1 tablet morning and
evening,Maximum 4 tablets daily.Children:not recommended.
